I am totally confused about this! I saw on youtube that you need a corrector before a concealer. Is a corrector same as a face primer or is it something special for underneath the eye area? Please clarify! Thanks!

a corrector is there to take away redness or green minimise the yellow etc in the skin to Balance out the skin

however its not going to cover up imperfections which is why you need a concealer

If you think of skintone and various issues think of a color wheel, the opposite color corrector will balance out the problem, sallow skin too yellow a pink corrector, green actually counteracts redness...ect. then a concealer!

My skin is O.K. and does not need heavy cover but I am always on the look out for products to cover by eye circles that I despise. So, my circles do not have any purple or red tones they are just dark. I think a corrector might help me but I do not know what color to use. I have olive skin and dark circles! Thanks!

The most common color corrector I have seen also used under concealer is blue, odd but that is what is used on TV to hide those circles, as much as I am not a big fan of Adrian Arpel
she sells a blue corrector named Anchor Woman Blue! It is a pale color but a little really lightens dark circles! I am sure there are other brands as well. You need the regular concealer as it looks very pale without it, especially with a deeper tone like olive. It really does work, I have used it on those occasions where sleep was just a dream!

Darkmoon: I was leaning towards Bobbi Brown so I called their customer service and they recommended peach! None of these products are cheap and I do not mind paying the price for a product that truly covers up my circles. I am surprised about blue but I value your opinion since it is always honest and you have been correct on several items!

I know they aren't cheap! If you check on HSN's site AA did sell a round with 4 colors in it I recall it has the Anchor Woman Blue and a regular concealer as well as a few other colors! It's really hard when there is different advice from various cosmetic companies! This might be a try and see what works for you! I have medium
toned skin and as I said the AWB is very light before using a concelor over it, but it worked for me!
