Hi gals, I 'm surprised there aren't many reviews on La Prairie.
The Cellular Line is fool-prove IMO
I really liked their Cellular Eye cream.
I also had samples of Skin Caviar for the eyes which is quite rich in silicone and left the area slippery.
What do you all think about La Prairie?
(I used to use so much of it in the Emergency line for acne, the brown purifying mask and Purifying cleansing gel which is now discontinued. They were all great products.) |

i've never tried this line. my girlfriend the long-time product junkie said it didn't do much for her at that time, when she was in her mid twenties.
i've heard otherwise also... i would like to eventually get to this. i really wish EDS expands their products line!
you've used alot of products. how old are you? |

I have tried a few product from La Praire, the serum is very good (I did not buy the most expensive line), and currently using the eye gel which I think it's soso, perhaps it is cheapest in the eye collection.
My friend (she is a Japanese)worked for La Praire, she said the quality is excellent and recommend me it's not a must to buy the most expensive line. She is 45+ but her skin is just beautiful, she is still using La Praire after quitting from the company.
P.S. OH! now reminding me to call her and ask her to help me read the Bone massage book! she is in the skincare business, she should know the details. |

Is if from France? it is popular in Asia and we can easily buy them from airport or inflight. I ask her before, she just told me chose the mid-range products, e.g. USD150-200 range. |

she said I have beautiful skin too, except wrinkles around my eyes, so I asked her if I should buy the most expensive eye cream from La Praire (I asked the same question here but not much feedback), I guess the most expensive one is like 450USD, my friend ask me to chose one from USD250. |

Illina: Thanks for asking.
I used in in my late teens when I suffered from mild acne. I had the entire range from Purifying gel cleanser, the green toner, purifyining lotion, the exfoliator (then used walnut shell), the emergency line which included a brown purifying mask, emergency serum...
Then I went to the anti aging line, all Cellular "original". I have always liked the eye cream but it starts to run into my eyes by mid afternoon. I had all the caviar serum, but found the texture too slippery from the dimethicone.
Then I swapped over to Gernetic because my mum stocked it in her salon. Then the rest becomes history!!
It's a pitty EDS can't sell Gernetic on line. It is very unique with a great philosophy.
It's story of my life: never apprepriate what comes to me naturally (or free), being Gernetic.
So I'm playing around with Valmont and Cellcosmet... did I mention my new toy: Clarisonic system.... |
