Can you apply moisturizer after renova? and if so is there a recommended time before application? and will it decrease the efficacy?

You could, but Renova already has a moisturizing base. If you were going to apply a moisturizer on top, I would wait 1 hour. |

Some purists say that you shouldn't apply anything over the top of Retin-A. However, I do because I like using facial oils and don't want to stop. If you want to use a moisturiser, just wait 30 minutes after applying the Retin-A. |

I don't think it's necessary to apply a moisturizer over Renova unless you have dry skin. If you have oily skin, applying a moisturizer over Renova would increase your risk of getting clogged pores and break outs (yes, these can still occur even though tretinoin is supposed to prevent them). This is because of the emollient base of Renova. |
