Fusion Beauty's LipFusion Lip Plumper
this lip plumper gloss has a clear container, while the product appears white. once applied it is clear and glossy. it is lightly scented, smelling like sweet candy (i have a bit of a cold), which is not noticeable and fades quickly.
i had been using the lipfusion XL which i really loved and had great results with. i stopped using the XL, to test this regular LipFusion lip plumper. therefore my personal experiment/test may not reflect results of a first time user.
i used this as a nighttime treatment and day time gloss for 3 days. before application, i exfoliated the lips using a rough terry cloth face towel, pat completely dry, and apply ample product. upon application there is a slight tingling sensation (ever so slight), which lasts for 5 minutes. this plumper has a nice gloss, keeping the lips hydrated and shiny. it is smooth and easy to wear. it does not feel sticky or mucky. the gloss factor i really like.
my lips were already plumped up from XL, and with this regular lipfusion, i found that lipfusion regular/daytime wear, kept my lips hydrated but the plump factor was not as great as XL. in fact, after the second day of use, the swelling that i obtained from XL was mostly lost. by the third day of lipfusion daytime wear, i had a very little plumping action, though my lips were still hydrated and looked pretty.
overall, it is a nice lip gloss but i don't think it compares to the lipfusion XL. |
