Any thoughts on what I might use to wash my puppy when she is a bit bigger and it is bit warmer?
This is a product area I have no experience.
All ideas welcome.

When I had my 2 dogs I used a shampoo from Aubrey Organics...Organimals Pet Shampoo. The company also makes a conditioner, but my rottweilers didn't have long hair so they didn't need any 'detangling'
I liked the shampoo for a number of reasons. After trying other shampoos from the pet store, I found they could dry/irritate their skin or they started to smell like dog after a few days. With the Aubrey pet shampoo, their coat was very soft and shiny and they didn't have that 'dog' smell as quickly...which meant I didn't have to shampoo 200lbs of dog as often!
The company is based in the USA, and in Canada thier products are sold in health food stores. I see you are in the UK, and there is an online store (or two) that carry the products over there...www.aubreyorganicsuk.co.uk |

I actually 'make' a shampoo out of liquid moisturizing hand soap and add certain essential oils, depending upon whatever issue my dogs might be dealing with. Fleas are a common one so I usually add some tea tree oil and eucalyptus oil. Sometimes I'll add a citrus-y one (lemon, tangerine, orange) because I like the scent.
I use a normal-sized water bottle (12 oz?) and put about an inch-worth of the liquid soap and essential oils and then fill the rest with water. Works well for my 3 border collies which range from 40 lbs to 65 lbs and I have both long-haired and short-haired.
