I'm using obagi with 0.1% retinA for 5 weeks now to treat my cystic adult acne (started appearing last year Confused )

I still get breakouts but they don't get as big or as inflamed as before and I can cover them with makeup.

My problem now is the cystic acne is finding new places. first behind my ear so I started using the regiment all over my neck and behind my ears now It's appearing on my EARS Sad
What am I going to do? I know if I stop obagi today my face will break out all over tomorrow.

My question is can I use a prescription drug along with obagi and wich one would you recommend?

I am sure that wouldn't be a problem, has, but you would really need to talk to a derm so they could prescribe something that is right for you and your skin.

Has,
Have you consulted a dermatologist regarding your cystic acne? I don't know how old you are, but I started getting this type of acne in my early 20's. My derm finally prescribed Accutane (isotretinoin) which completely took care of the problem.

I know this is often a controversial treatment and I doubt you could continue with Obagi, but it might be worth it to at least discuss this option with your doctor.
