I'm interested to straighten out my wavy hair. I heard of 3 different Japanese brands of hair straightening solution, i.e. Shiseido, Lisio, or Yuko.

Can someone please share which solution you have tried and which you like better? Which solution gives your hair a more lively look? Some time I see women who straighten their hair with a very flat and dry out look. That is not what I'm after. I want to have a natural bouncy but straight hair like the hair shampoo commercial. Will the straightening system do that for my hair?

Also what damage can I expect from straightening my hair?

hmmm Natalyn hmm if u r talking about permanent straightening,,then i dont know..but i have heard that they can cause serious damage to ur hair cuz of chemicals...
Have not u heard of the liquid keratin ? i have heard it is actually good for hair and does not cause damage but yeah it is not permanent..last for 1 month then needs to be done again Smile

hey Natalyndid u read the post by (has),,,she has just used the brazilian keratin qod gold hair treatment) that she bought from ebay...it is for 45 dollars but u may also need a shamppoo and cond to keep up with the results for 3 months ,,so if u also buy that its for an additional 45 dollars...the results stay for 3 months and i have heard it makes ur hair almost stick straight ...if u already have staright hair,,or with a bit waves and frizz i think it would work even better but i have read it works really well on curly hair as well...the only thing is that if u need to get that staright look again after 3 months,,,u ll have to do the whole process again...On amazon,,,the same seller(keratin4u) sells the same stuff but in very large bottles,,,,and the whole system would cost u more than 300 dollars but it would let u do ur hair many times,,,,cuz its big and its for multiple uses...The one on ebay, sent by the same seller are 4 oz sample size bottles that would last u i guess one to two times...but one for sure...and has said that the results are amazing..and yes thats exaclty what i want cuz permanat straighteinng is done by chemical and it lasts for ever,,only touch ups needed but in this case u have to redo after 3 months to keep up with the results but i have heard it doesnt damage ur hair at all sice its usig keratin which ia a protien and not a chemical..i m soooo excited to use it,,,but first i have to buy it Sad

Hey thanks for the info. It's helpful. I want to try, too. I got a butcher cut on my hair. I told the guy I don't look good with short hair, and while he left part of my hair long, he butchered one chunk of my hair on the right side. It's weird. So I got a mullet cut without asking for it. I thought it would look better if my hair is straight. My natural hair is mostly straight but waves to one side at the ends. Yeah, lots of frizzes especially after a shampoo. So I just need to use this keratin for a couple of times until my hair grows out enough for a fix-up cut. I'm thinking I should be able to get a fix after 6 months.
