I would suggest you look at Dermalogica or MD Formulations products. A few products spring to mind which could help your friend: Dermalogica Dermal Clay Cleanser, Microfoliant, Medicated Clearing Gel, Oil Control Lotion; MD Formulations Glycolic Cleanser, Facial Lotion, Clearing Complex Masque, Clearing Complex. DDF also have some good acne products, but there are also natural skin care lines like YonKa and Decleor that have some good and gentler products. There are (clearly) other lines as well, but the above are the ones I am most familiar with for acne.
If you actually want to give some skincare as a gift, I would suggest that you go for a starter kit rather than full size products. Both MDF and Dermalogica make starter kits with decently sized products for different skin types. |

PTR Blot Papers (awesome)
Jan Marini Bioglycolic Facial Cleanser or MD formulations sensitive skin formula (glycolic cleanser)
A nice oil/alcohol free toner would be great as well.

I regretfully put my bf on Clinique and I must say it is NOT doing any good so stay clear of this line! He also has oily skin with the odd pipmle so I'm trying to get him to try the Dermalogica starter kits (oily skin kit) or an md formulations glycolic acid cleanser as these lines have had rave reviews and seem very effective from others results. Good luck |
