I'm only 22 and every time I see my friends on campus, they tell me "You look tired."
I get at least 6 hours of sleep a day but there are those inevitable nights where I'm up studying, partying, etc...
What can I do to look more awake? |

A quick suggestion is to think about the colors you wear. When I wear a color that does not suit me I look tired.. and just blah!
I know others will jump in with makeup/skincare suggestions as well.

I look tired, too, when I don't get enough sleep, and I don't think 6 hours is enough, at least not for me. I look like hell if I only get 6 hours each night. I don't even look that good with 7 hours. I need 8-10 hours! So you just have to suck it up and get more sleep. |

I'd say that 6 hrs. of sleep just isn't enough for you. Some people can do fine on 6 hrs. but not everybody. I seem to need 8 hrs. to function at my best and anything less than 7 I look tired. |

Well, what works for me are facial exercises, especially for the eyes. When I first started doing them, not only did I look tired, but I really *was* tired, since I was up frequently during the night taking care of my two little ones.
The Tanaka massage also works really well to perk up the way I look when I'm tired. Actually, I'm pretty amazed how *decent* I look on the outside these days even when I feel absolutely exhausted!
(It's so annoying when people tell you how tired you look! I used to get that all the time...) |

LOL yeah, totally! Why do people feel it's ok to tell you you look tired (which I interpret it to mean "you look like a hag!), but they won't tell you they think you look fat? |

big eyes person always has this kind concern. Try to use eye mask before sleep, it at least make me looks not too bad in the morning. |

Definitely 6 hours is not enough sleep. Sleep 8 hours a night, more on the weekends if you can. Have a serving of fish and take some vitamin C. Use mineral makeup since you are pretty young and some bronzer and a little highlighter on your cheekbones. Wear mascara. |
