I have a mineral makeup/ skin care company and I made the most unbelievable hair loss cream. My hair was coming out in handfuls and my hairdresser was worried it would all come out. And so was I! Anyway I made this cream chock full of ingredients and boy does it work, I have sold a few and so much really positive feedback. So I started thinking, I wonder if it would work on the va ja ja area? ( Yes the private lady area)You know how you get older and they get a little (shall we say) sparce? And sometimes they need a bit of attention and the lovely ingredients would nor hurt at all, but just wondering about the rosemary e o? Does anyone know if that would be a problem? It is a very low dose. I tried it myself and the va ja ja area (to put it delicately) was lovely and soft, but I want to check out the growing situation. If it works like the hairs on my head, I will be overjoyed. |

LMAO!
I think most of us are interested in getting rid of it, rather than growing it long, full and glossy... |

This is now my all time FAVORITE thread... and I swear to God, if Kassy doesn't always find the PERFECT "smiley"... Good Lord that thing needs a bottle of Nair, or a whole ball of wax... Beads, Braids or somethin'
Laser... works like a charm!
Being from Humboldt County, I can see where Dreamskin might be coming from... and of course, I've heard that some do actually prefer more, feeling perhaps too prepubescent without... I suspect (and of course could be wrong...) More might be interested in the HEAD application, and maybe some overplucked eyebrows would be interested??? Good luck with your potion! |

On a more serious note .... I find it somewhat alarming that someone who formulates and sells their cosmetic products to the public would come to a skin care forum and ask these questions. Any good formulator should be thoroughly versed in their ingredients of choice IMO. There are many well-written books on Essential Oils and their properties including any potential dangers; there are also a few reliable websites with this information. I really don't think asking this question on a public forum is the best way to research information. In fact, we should be asking you these questions, not the other way around! JMHO |

Ok...I thought I've read everything...until now
V-jay hair is soooo last year..... I've spent so much time and effort trying to keep mine neatly coiffed and trimmed. I would prefer just to shave it completely off...but I am not, shall I say, all that skilled with a razor...
I cut my legs for crying out loud and I can see those AND they are relatively flat surfaced I cannot even begin to imagine what I'd do to my crotch...
and there is no way in hell I am waxing.... |

What the ........?
I'm living in bathers at the moment so my whole world revolves around getting rid of the wretched stuff - hence my recent review on the Philips Epilator (which I had to especially order because I wore my other one out).
But just to annoy all you anti-Wikipedia people - here's some riveting reading on the subject:

Sorry Dreamskin - I won't be purchasing your Va Ja Ja cream! |

Man, you guys are brutal! I am not a neanderthal, just 54 and look a little like the top of Mr Burns head down there. I keep it all appropriately trimmed, waxed, etc, thank you very much. I would just like a tiny bit more, not a frigging forest! Man, I am not posting anything else, I should have worn my suit of armour! |

Excerpt from Wikipedia re: Pubic Hair:
Among the upper class in 19th century Victorian Britain, pubic hair from one's lover was frequently collected as a souvenir. The curls were, for instance, worn like cockades in men's hats as potency talismans, or exchanged among lovers as tokens of affection. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pubic_hair |
Ewwwwwwwwwww!!!! I thought this was gross until I remembered that someone came up with the bright idea of developing a toupee for the va ja ja called a "Merkin". For more entertaining reading - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merkin
Oh, and in case anyone is interested (though I shudder at the mere thought of this), here is a company that sells a human hair Merkin and refers to it as an "erotic appliance". Okay, where is the barf emoticon when you need it!!!

Human Hair Merkin - Female Pubic Toupee -www.makupartist.com
Starting at: $26.14
Originally the Merkin or Female Pubic Toupee was worn starting around 1420 to help hide the conditions of disease. Today it is an erotic appliance. Our Merkins come in four colors please select a color from the drop down box. They can be attached with various glues or can be sewn to a g-string. It is also possible to trim them into any shape you wish. |
