I've read that applying castor oil darkens eyelashes after using it for a while. Has anyone experienced this and could you also use it for scalp or eyebrows? I have totally pale lashes and hate lash tints |

I think castor oil just makes your lasher look darker because it encourages growth and strengthens individual lashes. Fine, weak or brittle hair tends to appear lighter than healthy, thick hair. |

I agree they may appear darker due to conditioning, but I have not heard of it actually darkening the hairs! |

I've heard about a few people having significant darkening on the new growth though it was a mix of castor oil, amla and coconut oil |

I have used castor oil on my lashes for conditioning and never had any type of darkening. |
