Hey guys -- I've had this painful dry patch on one elbow for some time now and I can't seem to get rid of it. I have tried various Dr H body oils and Dr H hand cream, to no avail. Any suggestions? Many thanks. |

| Have you tried good ol' vaseline? Also, Mario Badescu Healing Balm comes to mind as well. Could it be a patch of echema? |

If it IS excema (or however it's spelled!), you might try good ole Noxema. In fact, did you know the name "Noxema" actually was taken from the phrase knock's excema?! Apparently it's a combination of a phonetic spelling if you say it really fast or don't enunicate well....
If that doesn't work, try some Palmer's Cocoa Butter (the actual cocoa butter, not the CB lotion or cream) -- that usually takes care of my elbows...
Good luck!

drawing breath.. cuz I am gonna recommend the same thing I always do.. pawpaw/papaya ointment. This stuff is the bomb for cracked elbows/heels/hands. You can get it cheap from the online Aussie pharmacies. There is Lucas' papaw (that is how they spell it) and then there is another brand.. um.. forgot the name.
what about raiding the kitchen for some Sweet Almond Oil as an alternative...? |
