I like this the best of any anti-redness treatments. Bitter cold winters here in Canada and unfortunately my skin is more blotchy, etc than usual. This is available in Canadian drugstores at an affordable price.
I have used Neostrata anti-redness cream (not bad and similiar but not as good.)I have also used Avene Diroseal - green tint not sure that it did anything. I do not recommend La Roche Posay Rosallic. This tends to sting if your skin is sensitive. Same feedback on a Canadian forum that I visit about the LRP Rosallic. (I do like other LRP products including the Hydraphrase UV 30; Redermic)
Formerly available on special order only by pharmacist this product is now available in the cosmetic section at SDM. I paid $38.00 cdn. This product is not as heavy as Avene Diorseal and more effective than Neostrata anti-redness cream.
It contains silymarin (extracted from milk thistle) to sooth and MSM. Fragrance free, alcohol free, non-comedogenic. Package indicates that results appear in 2-3 weeks. IMO 3-4 weeks.

Anti-redness cream formulated for rosacea-prone skin
Rosacure+ is an anti-redness face cream which has been specially formulated for rosacea-prone skin. You can now enjoy and see accelerated results with this fast acting formula. Visible benefits from Rosacure+ should begin to appear after 2 to 3 weeks and should improve with continued use.
Rosacure+ is fragrance free, non-comedogenic and alcohol free. This cream should be applied sparingly twice daily and does not interfere with any current medication being taken for rosacea. If your physician has prescribed a medication (e.g. metronidazole) for you, apply your prescribed medication first, wait 10 minutes and then apply Rosacure+.
How does it work? Rosacure+ has a unique patented formula with powerful antioxidant/anti-aging ingredients coupled with highly effective moisturizers that work FAST to help reduce facial redness. Its two key ingredients are methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), a sulfur compound that is used in the treatment of inflammatory conditions and silymarin (Lady's Thistle Extract), a bioflavonoid. The combination of MSM and silymarin exerts a synergistic effect in reducing the appearance of facial redness |
