Hi folks, as some of you may notice, I am always on the hunt for the purest all-natural skincare products. I have recently re-discovered Gabriel, which for some reason has disappeared from the shelves of my health food stores for years now. Years ago I would buy their eyeshadows and mascaras, but I have found them again on vitaminlife.com and after checking out their ingredients I am very happy! They have nothing but the best (like Aubrey Organics and Dr Hauschka). So, if any of you are searching for these types of products, I'd like to share my 'find' with you -- and I'd also love to hear from any of you who have comments to share about your experiences with this line. Thanks |

I get my vitamins from vitaminlife.com too. But I buy my Gabriel eyeliner from wholefoods. It goes on easy, but it does smudge throughout the day. If anyone has some good recs for a vegan eyeliner throw them my way. Thanks! |

I think that LaVera cosmetics line is vegan.
Check it out at

Are you vegan? |

Yeah, I know. . . no pictures. I end up looking at the products on a different site than ordering from them since it's so much cheaper! It's worth the extra work. |

Miss shoes,
Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I am vegan. I have tried a few Lavera products. They have some vegan products, but the whole line is not vegan. Thanks for the recs though! |

Sorry to resurrect a very old thread here! I was just reminded by someone else's review of Ecco Bella that I wanted to chime in about Gabriel (especially since the two seem to consistently be sold in the same stores, at least in my area). I tried the Gabriel mascara, thinking it would be a nice paraben-free alternative to Ecco Bella's, my old HG. Gabriel's mascara was super-dry, so it barely went on and it globbed my lashes together with big lumps of product that were sticky. I also found it to flake really badly througout the day. I don't know if I just got a bad tube or what, but I will never be using this again!
However, I do love their lipstick and lip liner. Both have really nice creamy formulations that apply well. I just won't go down that mascara road again! My new HG is Dr. Haushcka, and I hope I get to read some reviews of the new volumizing one soon! |

I am still using Ecco Bella as my mascara. I know it has parabens but the results are so much better than Dr. Hauschka mascara for me. The Dr. H liquid and pencil eyeliners, however, are divine! |
