This really ticks me off as the problems people maybe having with the OCM could be just not having any pure olive oil in the mix at all.

I wish it mentioned the brands that were good.

If you read further down, it did mention some store brands that did sell 100% virgin oil (IGA, Sobey's). It said people should not expect to get a large bottle of virgin oil for $4.99 or less.

There was some brands mentioned as poor quality; I have never heard of them.

Also, I believe in buying small bottles as oil is better fresh.

I saw that IGA and Sobey's carry their house brand but around here IGA is not considered cheap so I wouldn't buy the brand unless I had no choice. I am not sure how much I can trust the word of someone whose company is selling the product anyways.

The poor quality brand ones are the ones commonly found around here. Even if you buy a small bottle it's whether is a trustworthy brand that is what matters.

I am using jojoba oil right now for a OCM but was going to switch to olive if it gave me more hydration but I will wait now.

that's terrible. Taking advantage of cutomers and lying to us. Not right.

My friend told me about a company in California that grows all their own olives to make their organic olive oil.
They have a web site...McEvoy Ranch. You get what you pay for. I bought a bottle in NYC and it is fabulous.

It's sad to think why some companies need to take advantage of their customers just to make money. Confused
