Wow that's a blast from the past, lol.
I would personally use a microfiber cloth that can be cleaned after each use..it has to be cheaper in the long run than disposable pufs or a non-disposable one that can grow bacteria. |

No kidding!! I'm thinking this is a really dumb thing to put in a magazine...hopefully women won't run out to buy Buf Pufs to remove makeup.. |

LOL They are great for feet and elbows ect. But not my face, not any body's in my opinion. LOL! I hope you are right and people have more sense than to go running to buy them for makeup removal! |

I have a BuffPuff ultra sensitive/very gentle and have used them for years. It stays in my shower and I use it every other day. At night I use my Clarisonic and then on the other days my micro cleaning cloths. I don't use it to remove makeup, it's used just to clean before I put makeup on.
I throw it in the dishwasher on antibacterial cycle once or twice a week along with my Clarisonic heads.
I love it and haven't had any issues with it tearing my skin or growing bacteria.
I once was out of one for a couple of months until I could find the gentle replacement and I really missed it. It cleans differently than my Clarisonic, which i use for pores mainly. This is more for peelies and flakes that the other doesn't remove. To be honest, for me I think it does a better job than my Mia overall, but i don't scrub my skin off either. |

Wow, definite blast from the past. I used to love the Buf Puf. I remember reading many, many years ago that Bo Derek used that and I thought she had perfect skin, so I had to rush out to buy it back then! |

I have found either enzyme, AHA/BHA, and rounded microdermabrasion beads just make me more comfortable. |

I do remember using the singles.
I think this product disappeared from my area (Ontario, Canada) about 15 years ago. |

LOL...
well I re-read the article and Cindy Crawford says she uses a "gentle scrub or buff puff to clean my make up out of the nooks and crannies so my pores don't get clogged".
I think Ill get one to try again after all these years. |

I found them too harsh to use on the face, even the softest version. But they're awesome for body polishing. |

I've used Buf Pufs for years but am planning to order the Mia. It will be interesting to see what difference, if any, Mia makes. I think I'll keep the Buf Puf for elbows and knees, as someone mentioned. It was invented by a dermatologist, by the way. |

I still am using the Mia and the BuffPuff, but I also alternate Aveeno soy cleansing beads and my JI micorderm cloths along with Ahava cleanser with microbeads. I love to change it up! |
