Hey gals!
I'm looking for a good firming cream to use on days I take a break from obagi and retina. I also use SB CPs couple of times a week and I think they're what's making my skin look aged.
So I need a good firming face cream. what have you used with good results??
also what eye firming cream would u recommand. right now I'm using MD forte and TNS and CPs twice a week under my eyes. also used EES with no good results |

has - you might be seeing some uglies with the CPs. they bring up the old, damaged skin while replacing it with the new, remodeled skin. You need patience thru this stage.
Skin Bio recommends using their Two Timing Tightener during this phase. It has DMAE in it and does a really good job of firming up the loose skin that can occur during the 'uglies'.
I used it on my eyes when I saw some uglies and it does firm things up a lot. |

Sorry to ask you foxy but do you know how long it takes to go through that bad phase with CP´s. I started mine one month ago and seems that I have more marks than before
Thank you |

It will always depend on what you are starting with. For people with bad acne scars or horrible sun damage - it will take longer for their damage to surface and be renewed with newer skin than someone who just has some finer surface type of issues.
One month is not a lot of time, but you should be seeing *something* by now. If you have more 'marks' then that might be buried damage coming to the surface.
What are the marks you mention? And which products are you using? |

Hi Foxe!
Thank you for your help. Yeah, I have acne scars (not big though) and some dark spots from when I was taking the pill. I´ve seen an overall improvement in my complexion but not in the acne scars Will wait one more month

I was working on some acne scars for a lot longer than a month. You need a little more patience, lisocas.
The nice thing about the CPs and scar remodeling is it is permenant. I had a scar that I started working on as soon as it stopped 'oozing' and by applying CPs on it for quite a few months - the skin is SO smooth now - much smoother than the surrounding skin. I am completely amazed it could turn out like that.
I also have some other scars I've been working on for about 7 months. I had stopped using CPs for 6 mos while I tried another skin care line and that was a mistake from the look of these scars. They ended up being depressed and very red. It is taking more work to remodel these than the one I used CPs on right away.
It takes patience to see CPs work, but they do work. |

has - you're right that TTT is temporary. It can help get thru the ugly stage tho.
How long have you used CPs and what ones are you using? |

Just curious to those of you sying the TTT's effetcs are temporary..
I don't actually use it but am looking into starting to use a DMAE serum. Would you say then that the effects of DMAE are not accumulative and rejuvenating but really more temporary or is it just the TTT in particular?? |

Thanks Foxe!
I guess you are right, it should take more time than a month. I also started diluting the serum so my skin seems to getting better now. I think it was too powerful on my skin, so I was getting the uglies. It seems to be improving very slowly. I will post the update

I can't seem to find these products in the Valmont line here at EDS or in a Google search.....I'm thinking that maybe they're the new Valmont Nature cream & serum that are listed, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I have been ready to order a new firming cream, cream/duo and Valmont has never disappointed me.
Yago, could you please share a little insight on your skin type, age and is there any sagging to result in the firming that you may be experiencing? Or is it just that they feel good on your skin? (IMO most anything Valmont DOES feel good on my skin!)
Thanks! |

DMAE is considered a firming treatment - not anti-aging per se. It is temporary in effect (short-term temporary) not long term like CP's. But good to use on special occasions. There may be some cumulative effect but I think that too is very short-term - you must keep using to maintain the tighter effect from the product. |

thanks for the info SS- that's disappointing had it in my head it was the holy grail or something from pastresearch of Periccone products/literture...I likely mis-interpreted |
