I'm looking for any information on the phases of DIY product making. I've looked and can't find anything. Most specifically, I'm looking for info on what ingrediants go in what phase of the process. Hopefully that makes sense. I'm new to the DIY stuff and basically . . . need the basics.  |

If you read some of the recipes here that will give you a good idea of how the various phases are put together.

I looked at a few recipes and I'm still confused.  Some of the actives are in one phase while other actives are in another phase. Idk. Maybe it doesn't make a differance? Happy Easter back at cha. |

The initial phases correlate to what is soluble in say water, alcohol, oils ect. Then you mix according to the recipe and depending on what you are mixing the proper emulsifier is added in one of the phases.
