Hi all,
this is my first post here.
I have been doing research and see that the dr roller dermaroller is the best one to order.
But when I do a search on google, there are many sites for dr roller, and wanted to get the right one.
can someone pls post a link to the right website so I can go ahead and order from dr roller???
thanks so much,
Storke |

Storke, in your PM I sent you a link to the Discounted Dermarollers thread.
I would order from Jack if you are in the US or Canada, or Kaia if you are elsewhere. Both of their info is on the last page (or maybe the next to last page) of that thread. |

Unfortunately, the versions from Owndoc are not cross-linked (which creates more surface tension and results in deeper needle penetration and cleaner-edged wounds). And since the goal of rolling is deep penetration and most people do not roll aggressively/deeply enough, cross-linked is a definite plus. |

Oh no. I didn't know that. I love the long threads here, but sometimes it's so hard to read everything. I'm sure I missed it.
Which one do you use? I should have asked more questions before I ordered this newest one. |

Beth - Do you know if Jack still does discounts for EDS? I assume his rollers are cross-linked since you recommend him.
For anyone new on this thread (I've said this on previous threads) Bethany has done tons of research on the topic of dermarollers and when she speaks we should all listen |

Sis, his current EDS prices for Dr. Rollers are posted on the Discounted Dermarollers thread. (and the Dr. Rollers are cross-linked)
I do know that Kaia was about the same BUT she also had an additional discount % off coupon...combined with her multiple roller deals, she was the cheapest. But it will take longer to get here.
Dr. Rollers are NOT the cheapest, but they are cross-linked, the heads are weighted, the needles are very secure, and never bent...a very good thing when sticking them in your face! If you use another brand, PLEASE check each and every needle BEFORE using the roller.
The only thing I do not like about the Dr. Rollers is that denture cleaning tablets destroy them...you really have to clean them with alcohol. But because you REALLY cannot reproduce a sterile roller, I personally throw mine away after one deep roll (but I don't roll that often).
Editing to add: I also LOVE the Dr. Roller 3Line roller which is best for around the eyes. I really think this roller is what got rid of my crows feet, since I got far deeper penetration than with a regular roller with the same length needles (as evidenced by the bruises under my eyes). |

Do you know if you can autoclave the Dr. Rollers? |

I don't think so. Most of these longer rollers are really mean to be used ONLY one time...regardless of what the knockoff documentation says.
The only one I remember as being able to be autoclaved was the one developed by that doctor that is (or used to be) mentioned on the Skin Biology page. Dr. Philipa somebody?
Editing to Add: I just looked it up...it is the Clearskincare Skin & Scalp Roller (.75mm) and it CAN be autoclaved.
Dr. Philippa McCaffery was the woman who recommended that you "macerate" your skin when rolling in a powerpoint I posted, which is why I never forgot her, lol. Scared the heck out of me!

Thanks to everyone, and especially thanks to Bethany for being sooo very helpful!!
So after spending a few hours on here today, researching and researching about all this, I have come up with 2 options for ordering a dermaroller.
I quite like the dr roller, and I also quite like the nova clinic dermaroller
I have read more about the dr roller, and one of the links on here took me to this site:
actually the site you mentioned to me bethany
from Kauii, I think you said her name was.
is this exactly the same quality dermaroller as from the original dr roller?
it costs 59 dollars as opposed to the original dr roller site online.
the nova clinic dermaroller would get here much quicker as i am in australia, but i want the best quality one.
P.S. I tried to post the links to the different dermaroller websites on this post, but because I am a new member am unable to.
thanks for any help

Storke,
The Nova roller IS a Dr. Roller, so that makes your decision easy, lol. And the models sold by both Kaia and Jack come sealed in all the Dr. Roller sterile packaging with a little hologram seal, etc. They are definitely authentic.
And with ANY roller purchase, always check to see that you actually receive exactly what you ordered. It's really easy to get the wrong-sized needles (just check the box label). |

Well, that solves that issue! lol. didn't realize it was the same.
I think I am definitely going to go with your advice to get the dermastamp. Now it's just a matter of finding a good quality dermastamp.
Feels like a never ending quest!
Best Wishes,
