Freckle Time. Ew. I have freckles around my eye area. I want to get rid of them. I wear sunglasses, sunscreen around the eyes makes me cry.

1) What can I do to get rid of them? Lemon juice seems like it would be to harsh. I just got Renova, I have used that around eye area. I use Vitamin C on eye area, but it's not helping. What can I apply to lighten them?

2) Any recs on eye sunscreen? Do I apply it first?

3) Also, mascara bleeds off when I do this.

Waaa Embarassed Thanks for your input

I have successfully used PSF's Phyto Nutriv serum for the freckles on my eyelids. I used it in the fall & now they are so faint you can barely see them (of course, they'll be back again after a summer of fun in the sun!). But its hydroquinone free & safe for the eye area. Plus it works!

What about using a physical sunscreen like zinc oxide or titanium oxide? They may be less irritating to your eyes than the chemical sunscreens? HTH!

Thanks, much. What does PSF stand for? I googled it and only came up with Estee Lauder.

Previously I just went with the freckles, but now I'm going to try and stand against them. Bad Grin We'll see how this goes when I start swimming again.

Will it work on the rest of the face including lips? Ever since I went to America my face is covered in freckles (some have even joined up) and I can't get rid of them! Mad

I don't see why not. I actually use it all over my face, but I'm not sure about lips? Lips seem to be a different type of skin than the rest of the face - plus you are always licking them (well, I am at least!) so it might just get licked or eaten off? I guess if you are using it for the rest of your face & eyelids, it wouldn't hurt to treat your lips too. Maybe put on a lip balm afterwards to sort of "lock in" the actives? Let us know how it works out for you! Smile
