Hi Everyone-
I am 25 yrs old and have fairly normal skin...sometimes it is more oiler and sometimes more dry depending on the day, but for the most part it is normal. I don't really have any acne or blackhead issues, however have pretty large pores on my cheeks, nose, and forehead...what can i do to fix this or at least make them appear smaller? thanks |

I have whiteheads so I do regular extraction with a pore pack, reduce sebum with frequent blotting, use an astringent toner to temporarily shrink the pores, and make sure my skin is well hydrated if not it will appear uneven/saggy where the enlarged pores are. Some people take collagen to firm the skin but I've not seen it working on me. Some people claim that chemical peels work for them yet others claim it makes their pores even more noticeable. |

I do glycolic peels 30% every 3 months or so from platinumskincare.com. My skin looks like crap for a week but then is all shiny and new!
In between, I am a huge fan of Phtyo-C Active Serum. This stuff always makes my pores less visible and cleans out more of the blackheads. When I am out, my skin knows the difference. This serum works better than the new IS Clinical Serum for me. |

Great advice guys! I definitely agree with drinking lots of water. I've realized it makes a huge difference in my skin texture. Another one is to be careful that your moisturizer isn't too rich. Also make sure you let your treatment really soak in before you go to sleep.
I'm using the Anti-aging light stim and it is shrinking my pores with daily use (but this could be temporary idk)
I'll take a look into the glycolic peel you mentioned Annie sounds great! |
