Why does Renova show skin peeling only when foundation is applied? Does Renova .05 applied at night make your skin allergic to foundation?
I have been using it for two weeks after using a Retinol for a year. I was so happy that I had no reaction until I would put on foundation. 15 minutes later it would peel. (Foundations I have in my stash are Chanel illuminating base, Shiseido SPF liquid powder, shiseido liquid powder, dr perricone tinted moisturizer and cosmedicine.) Just curious!
PS I have read all the posts where some people flake and peel, but not only when foundation is applied. Thanks in advance |

The skin flaking and peeling is not as obvious on bare skin. When you apply liquid or powder make-up it really makes the dry, flaking skin stand out. I used Obagi years ago and must admit it is a fantasic skincare line but I had to give it up because my face never got past the peeling, flaking stage and wearing make-up was a nightmare!
Your skin might adjust to the products and then the peeling will stop. Some skin types adjust rather quickly and others (like mine) never adjust. |

If the peeling is driving you nuts, cut back on your frequency of application to every other day. |
