I've gotten laser resurfacing this weekend. My face is very tight and dry, which it never is and never will be once I heal.
What is the best moisturizer (oil-free and won't break me out)after laser resurfacing?
I've been using Hyaluronic Acid serum, which is good, but it's all out.
I have a sample of Kate Somerville Oil-Free moisturizer.
I also have samples of Skin Medica Oil Free Moisturizer.
I also have Biafine from France! Would that work?
What's the best to use?
I always worry about my nose area since it gets clogged easily.
Any tips?
Thanks everyone! |

I agree laserbound. I have been using Biafine exclusively (with the exception of Aquaphor for a day and a half after the procedure) and it has been working great. |

I would not try anything new for the first time just in case you have a reaction to it.
I'm very acne prone and can use vaseline without issues. Think about giving that a try. It will will also help protect your skin as it heals. |

I'm very surprised that the doctor or clinician hasn't told you what to put on your skin after laser resurfacing. You should have been given a sheet of instructions on how to look after the skin post treatment. The most usual thing is to apply something like Vaseline or Paw Paw Ointment - something that keeps the skin wet - it's very important that the skin doesn't dry out. |

I would say HA serum. Light and moisturizing without oil. I got some off ebay for a great price. Cant remember the name but they are from Portland. Also there is Babyface that seems very reasonable priced. |

Yeah, you should stick to what you know works for any post-lazer treatments. Your skin becomes super sensitive and it's not the best time to be testing out products |
