Hi
I'm currently using the obagi nuderm system - the products are great however i'm finding it very expensive. The obagi tretinoin cream is approx $70 but have found a generic tretinoin for $15 and its the same strength. Does anyone know if it would be ok to swap to the cheaper one or if the obagi one has anything special in it that the other brands dont?
Thanks

Yes, you can definitely use generic tretinoin (as long as it's the cream and not the gel). |

Its fantastic, I'm 35 and have better skin now than in my early 20's. My biggest issue was pigmentation which was bad after the birth of my son which is now pretty much gone. I've been using the system for about 16 weeks. The early stages are pretty awful though and that lasted about 4 weeks. Luckily I'm on maternity leave and didnt have to go to work as that would have been a real struggle as I looked dreadful with all of the redness and peeling. If you can make it through those tough weeks, the results are fantastic and I would totally recommend it. HTH, good luck x |
