Hi Stardusty,
Isn't sodium chloride just another name for salt? I didn't know that salt caused acne. I've never heard that one before. Geeze - another ingredient to avoid! |

That's just what it is salt? I never heard of it causing issues either. |

Yeah, just regular salt
I read somewhere... (don't know where don't know how trustworthy the source was) that salt could somehow make the sebum thicker and thus be comedogenic?
But on the other hand there are salt scrubs to exfoliate... so I don't know. |

I know...Sodium Chloride is supposingly just a salt and it should help with acne too if used as a scrub. But based on this site here, http://www.zerozits.com/Articles/acnedetect.htm it's rated 5 as comedogenic so I don't know |

No Stardusty like so many things it's really hard to "know" unless you pinpoint a specific ingredient that's causing you personally problems. I just avoid too much in my diet but that's a different reasoning all together. |
