I did a search of these 3 products but I could not find the one I read about 2 months ago. Someone wrote that these 3 items were great for moisturizing the face. I tried it this past Saturday and most of it ended up in the sink and not on my face. I was wondering if I did something wrong when mixing. There were no amounts listed of how much of each to use. I was wondering if anyone here would know. |

I personally wouldn't mix sandalwood powder into any skin care, I would use 10 drops per. ounce of liquid of sandalwood essential oil. If you must use the powder I would allow it to sit in the Rosewater and Glycerin for 2 weeks in a dark, cool place shaking daily and then strain it through cheescloth. The reason prefer not to use the powders is they are usually sold as incense to burn on charcoal rounds. JMHO |

I really like sandalwood [ fave] and have used the powder along with Frankincense and Myrrh powders w\mixed with Kaolin clay to make a very nice mask. Works well. Can be tweaked by adding some Tea tree oil and Eucalyptus blue gum at 2 drps each.
Also...throw in some crushed aspirin for fun.
Or
Use activated charcoal to draw out impurities as well. The dry mix can be mixed with H2O , a flower water or an oil...just a bit to make a nice paste. |

I love sandalwood powder! I use it as a daily exfoliant ( it's very finely powdered) and make a mask with Rosewater and Sandalwood powder, sometimes I use fuller's earth. |

It seems very difficult to do. |
