To get the best effect, do you keep your products in the room temperature? or in the fridge? |

YOU SHOULD KEEP YOUR PRODUCTS IN ROOM TEMPERATURE AND DON'T KEEP IT MORE THAN NINE MONTHS. IT WILL CHANGE THE MATERIAL INSIDE ACCORDING TO THE WEATHER. SOMETIMES , IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO KEEP IT IN ROOM TEMPERATURE.

Room temperature can be good or bad - depending on where you live For example, if I didn't have my air-con on today, my room temperature would have been 35 Celsius
I store most of my stuff in the bathroom in drawers and cupboards where it's cooler and dark. I do have a few things that sit in the fridge, all the Eminence Organics masks which *have* to be refrigerated. |

In my bathroom cabinet. Up til now i have been assured of a very cool atmosphere in there, but since buying a huge heated towel rail, the temp has risen (along with my fuel bill) so it is now more temperate than arctic. I may have to switch to the fridge again |

I kept my stuff in room temperature and my mask inside the bathroom cabinet.
My home is not too warm during Summer time (70*-75*F) and during Fall & Winter like now, it's pretty nippy and only use the heater when even using 2 layers of sweater or jacket won't make us warm anymore |

I keep my products in my kitchen cabinet where there is less of a temperature swing . . . besides I wash my face in the kitchen every morning so it's more convenient. I think I would be quite uncomfortable if I had to put a cold product on my face every morning! Brr! |

I only keep cleansers in my bathroom, somewhere dryer. Other stuff are sitting on my dressing desk in front of the mirror (no magic one) or inside the cabinet. Temperature is not a very big issue in my room as there is air-con and curtain to cool it down. The killer is humidity (plus the warm n hot weather all year round) which is ideal for bacteria and all "aliens" I'm quite fussy about the container and prefer air-tight pump. For daily use product, big jur with a "wide mouth" which need fingers to dip inside is a big no-no. |

All my skin care is kept in my bathroom. I have quite an array and I like to rotate depending on my skin needs but don't want to have everything out, so I have have stored most in makeup bags that are labeled and kept in a cabinet. I have one for all my eye creams, one for my masks, one for cleansers, etc. I even have one for samples and one for products that I am "almost" sure I'll give away or trash. My absolute can't do without daily stuff is sitting out in the open neatly lined up on a tray.
In the past I was forgetting what I had and this has been the only method that has kept me in line. Now when I am contemplating buying a new product I can go to my labeled bags and perhaps find something that will curb my new lemmings for the time being.

Deborah Lippmann suggests to keep nail lacquer in fridge. I have been doing it, but does anyone know if this really makes the product last longer? |

In Japan they have these little fridges that keep skincare at a perfect temperature (something like 15oC (what is that in F? 35?) They were SO cool.. I wanted one bad! |

I keep my stuff in a basket/tote (the design meant and marketed for carrying cleaning supplies ) that I can bring with me to the bathroom. I can't leave it there because of humidity from the shower AND I share the bathroom with my roommate.
After joining this wonderful forum, I've amassed a large collection of samples!! Plus, I'm ADD on just using or sticking to a routine. I have to keep changing around my products every now and then. |

I just couldn't bother running down stairs to get my face creams out of kitchen everytime. So I just keep them all at room temperature, but I haven't been using much actives either so I guess its ok for now. |

Room temperature, under the bathroom counter. It's most convenient (I'd have to run downstairs if I kept anything in the fridge) and I hope it cooler in there to keep them fresher longer. |

It depends upon the product. But the only things I keep in my bathroom are my cleanser & my BHA/AHA. I just feel it's too hot & humid in there, and the temperature changes too much for it to be good for some products.
Everything else I keep in my bedroom. Everything is in light-occlusive containers, so it stays pretty cool & dark in there. |

I keep everything in a drawer in the bathroom. This way it is easy to get to and I'm not running up and down the stairs to the fridge. I think every thing is safe in the drawer. Here in Colorado it's not very hot and humid so I don't have to worry about spoilage. |
