This may seem like a dumb question, but I'm a makeup rookie! I recently bought everyday minerals natural reflections loose powder to use as sunscreen (to reapply over my usual sunscreen mid-day), and I bought a kabuki brush to apply it with. So coverage is obviously a factor. Because the powder color blends into my skin so well, and the kabuki brush is so soft, I'm not quite sure how to tell when I've achieved "good coverage". Is there a certain amount I should start with on the brush? Is there a certain way I should be applying it? help! |

Most people dip the brush direction in the powder, tap off excess then apply in circular motion to face. Do one layer over entire face then go outside with mirror to see whether the color is a good match and whether your skin looks even and imperfections are adequately concealed. If not enough coverage, apply another layer and recheck. Preferences on coverage are highly personal so only you can determine whether it's adequate. |

Rather than typing a novel I am posting a link to Aromaleigh's How To's this is the mineral brand I use and some of the best application tips I found ages ago. Also the owner has a blog that answers questions on all aspects of MMU. HTH
