Hi,
does anyone have an opinion on whether skinceuticals is as good as cellex c. skinceuticals is cheaper, is it as good? I have limited funds! Also, if I were to buy, whats a good basic regime? |

Lynley,
Personally I have found that Cellex-C vit C serums get darker faster than the Skinceuticals ones. That to me would indicate that they get through the process of oxidation faster than the Skinceuticals. Basically, I would lean more to the Skinceuticals, but in reality I prefer Vivier serums.
Are you looking for a complete regime or are you just looking to incorporate vit C into your routine?
Basic routine AM:
cleanser
vit C serum
vit C eye serum (if you like)
B5 gel (if your skin needs extra moisture)
moisturiser
sunblock (if moisturiser has no SPF)
Basic routine PM:
cleanser
moisturiser
I'm not specifying any products as I don't know your skin type.
HTH

Thanks for that, I may buy the special to give Skinceuticals a go. I'm looking for basically a whole new regime, may stick to MD cleanser, which my skin likes, and just want to use sunscreen over a good serum. |

I started with Cellex-C but liked the idea of the C&E product by Skinceuticals, tried it and am sticking with it 'cause it is fab. This product is supposed to have sun protection properties (see their website). Cellex-C does not do a C&E product to my knowledge.
Both brands are pretty expensive so dont know how you will go with limited funds but have you seen the EDS Christmas offers?!!! Have just re-ordered my Skinceuticals Hydra B5 Gel and C&E as a value pack AND got the SPF 20 sunscrean FREE! Yippeeeeee |

I much prefer Skinceutical product as I find the products don't oxidise as quickly as the Cellex C. And I find there is more variety in the Vit. C serums. |
