I had a bad laser experiance 6 months ago that has left me with a saggy neck and jowls. I'm haveing a mini-lift in less than 3 days, and I'm so nervous! I don't want to come out looking stretched or fake, but I hate having a stretchy sagging neck at age 40. I just want my face back the way it was. Although I don't know exactly how the laser caused the sag, I'm concerned that my elasticity my be so damaged that in a year the sag will be back. Any thoughts? . . . Anyone? |

Wow, that definitely had to be alarming. What kind of laser treatment did you have?
And as far as your mini-lift, as long as you picked your surgeon carefully, I am sure that you will be in great hands and everything will be just fine! |

Thanks Bethany. Yes, I picked a great surgeon, so I'm sure I'll be happy with the results. Only 3 hours to go until my procedure!
As far as the laser I had done . . . It's called Fraxel, and I don't recommend it to my worst enemy! |

Yes, the dreaded Fraxel! Mine left me with some damaged saggy skin in the lower jaw area as well.
If I could just go back! |

Fraxel treatment is a revolutionary laser treatment that helps you remove years from your appearance and regain a more youthful look.
Whether you have sun damage, wrinkles or other signs of age, Fraxel treatment delivers remarkable results with fast recovery. So you can quickly return to work or other activities with renewed skin—and renewed confidence.
How was the procedure done??
Is it great? |

Let us know how you are doing. I am a firm believer if some-thing bothers you so much to see a Dr. if needed.
I had rhinoplasty done approx. 20 yrs. ago. My nose had always bothered me, am so glad I did it and do not regret it at all. I was slightly worried afterwards that I would become addicted to surgury, but that is the only procedure I have had done. |

its not the laser its the dr. The same laser procedure by 2 different drs can yield either fantastic or disastrous results. There are a LOT of ripoffs out there with different types of lasers. I would be very careful with lasers, there are a lot of ripoffs out there(forcing you to buy a package-no refund) and a lot of unhappy women out there. You can do a lot with high end skin products and staying out of the sun and diet. |

I'm looking to have the Pearl and IPL laser done. I called some different places and asked them how long they have been doing the IPL and the Pearl. One office stated they just got the Pearl. They told me they weren't charging an office visit call because the laser is so new. So I'm skipping that office. |
