I will be post op one week on Wednesday. This has been quite an experience, not really pain, but discomfort. Mostly because my PS uses some strange stitch on both eyes. He made a stitch in my lower lid and taped it to my forehead. I am hoping to get these stitches removed today.
Now I'm ready to take care of my "new" eyes. I'm 51 and my bags were awful. My PS redraped my fat and nipped some excess skin from my lowers. I'm concerned about swelling and puffiness. I've had this my whole life. Not sure if that contributed to my horrible bags, but it's something that will still happen to me every morning. especially worse during my period. I'ved read that salt and sleep position can make worse. Does anyone here sleep on a wedge pillow at night? I'm a stomach sleeper, but I think I can make myself sleep differently if it would help morning swelling and puffiness. I'm so worried that my surgery will be in vain, and that my bags will come back.
Also what creams should I start using on my eyelids? I what to make the scars dissappear quickly. How so can I start using them? |
