I don't have that problem after exfoliating, but if my skin is dry, my acne scars tend to look worse. Maybe whatever you are using to exfoliate could also be drying out your skin?

Once I was told that exfoliating too frequently and too hard can do more damage than good.

I try to finish up washing/exfoliating with a few splashes of cold water. It seems to help a bit.

I can't seem to use most scrubs.
Every time I use something that scrubs too much my skin is broken out a few days later.

I tried a origins scrub with sugar something and that seems ok though.

I just got a sample of Badescu "cream" scrub and it has no grains and is really weird.
I am not used to that yet,but the sample has not bothered my skin.
I will probably buy that one as it is somewhat cheap too ($15 maybe?),but actually smells yummy like honey and candy almost and is not "scrubby "feeling-I can actually use it a few times a week.

I also found Serious skincare, their scrubs are also fine for me.

Hi there - You could try Copper Peptides to fill in the pitted scars. CP's and exfoliation works well together.
