I had an Hormonal breakout after baby then had a facial, and 1 month later shallow pitted scars on checks (so sad). After bowel cleans, acne cleared along with drinking water!!
Recently had Palomar lux laser with some good results, just bought Derma-roller along with Cooper peptides. Also use EpidermixII with oil and I have seen some improvement! Skin looks rough in certain lights. I am on stage a lot singing and would love to hear what has worked for you.
Also where to buy a good Vt C serum?
And will or Can acne scars heal?
I have been reading many entries which are extremely helpful, and encouraging thank you! |

I've used Skin Biology's copper peptides for acne scars with really good results. It takes a long time, though. Using CPs takes patience. You can speed it along with the rollers (apply CPs afterwards). Spot treating with the single needle really worked for me. I saw ice pick scars and boxcar scars fill in so smoothly. But, it did takes months and months to do it.
In between rolls, I would use a hydroxy acid (a BHA) with the CPs. I also use a washcloth or microfibre cloth to exfoliate.
Good luck.
BTW - I also use Vit C and I think the CPs do a better job on the scars than the C serum. |

Thank you foxe for your helpful information. Is there information about spot treating with single needle? I would like to give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion on Vit C and CP's, I think I will stay with CPs, plus it will save me money. All in all are you pleased with the outcome you have achieved? |

yes - even tho it took a long time.
I had a funny 'blemish' that had been on my cheek for years and nothing would get it removed. Every attempt I made caused it to bleed and it had a very hard stem in it. A dr said he'd do surgery to remove it. Well, the CPs (and a little bathroom sx) got rid of it - with NO scar!.
Another blemish that resulted from a very huge pimple (and was looking horrible) was treated w/ SC2X from the start (probably too soon) and it healed better than the surrounding skin. So Much Smoother!!
An older scar that was a boxcar type is now flush w/ the surrounding skin. It has to change color still, but that will come. I needled that a couple of times, followed w/ SC2X and in between that I've used either Retin A or a BHA and the CPs(Skin Signals or CP Serum). I wouldn't have thought that would change but it did. That one took about a year, though.
Another boxcar one that I started treating early on healed much faster. Newer scars will do that. Older ones have to get broken up and given time.
For the single needle, look up info on owndoc.com. They even sell those separately. |
