| I'm looking at ordering the 8% TCA peel from MUAC. I also was looking at the fruit acid one. Is the TCA peel good? Is it any better than the pumpkin peel from ncnproskincare.com? If you use a TCA peel do you use another in between? |

MUAC's TCA peel and NCN's pumpkin peel are completely different products/acids. The MUAC peel is good, but I found that Platinum Skin Care is "stronger" even at the same %. I am sure it has to do with the pH of the peels.
Nanci's pumpkin peel could be done in between TCA peels. |

| I recieved my 8% TCA peel so my questions are 1. Is peeling necessary for a TCA peel to work? if it doesn't do you move up in strength. 2. How long before and after retin-a use? 3. It says to use the green tea soap for 10 days after or cetiphil or gentle cleanser. Do you go for 10 days on gentle cleanser and is there another gentle cleanser you can suggest? natural if possible. So it said the peels start about 4 days after. Can you moisturize enough to avoid it? Do you use neosporin as a moisturizer for 10 days? Thanks so much |

With an 8% I don't think you will see much. Maybe some flaking. It depends on how bad your skin is if you will see results from an 8% TCA. I like MUAC green tea soap. It is very gentle. I only use it until I am done with the peeling, then I use my normal stuff. Most places will say to stop Retin A 3 days before the peel, and don't start it up until your skin has healed and is no longer peeling. You do want to keep the area moist. You don't have to use Neosporin (not a bad idea for the 1st night) but make sure it is a bland moisturizer without actives in it. Hope that helps. |
