Yes, I've tried argan(Morroccan)oil on my hair two ways: I've mixed conditioner and a few drops of argan oil in the palm of my hand. Put it on my towel blotted hair and leave it on a few minutes then rinse out. My hair dresser has put a few drops on my hair after he's dried it. Both ways work for me, but adding it to my conditioner works much better. I have very thick, dry hair.
I have also used sunflower oil and jojoba oil mixed with my conditioner. My preference for my hair is to use jojoba with my conditioner. It's a lot less expensive than argan oil, but that's not why I like it best. I think my hair dries faster and is definitely silkier and smoother. I don't have to wash my hair anymore often with the use of oil.
I know of one lady who massages jojoba oil into her scalp the night before she shampoos. Says it works well for her. I guess she sleeps in a plastic shower cap. I think it would still be messy.
If your hair is dry, I highly recommend using a little oil on it. |

I have used MoroccanOil on my dry, color-treated, frizzy hair and was not impressed - although, it does smell wonderful. My fiance, who has long, dark hair (which is not damaged) loves MoroccanOil and uses it everyday. |

I apply it just before blow drying as a serum. I like the immediate effect but my hair feels dry on the end lengths after two days. When I alternate with my old serum, I don't get this problem.
So I'm sitting on the fence on this one. |

Yes...I love it. I have tried the oil/cream/glossing spray/shampoo/conditioner/both masks....love it all! |

it will dry your hair out in the long run because it is loaded with silicones. which is ok if you heat style a lot, but you must clarify often too. I would rather just use the real deal: pure argan oil on my hair. |
