Anyone know where I can go to purchase similar products? I used to go to Mary (Silken Pearl) but she is not in business anymore.

I am looking for a basic pearl paste and bha 5% souffle....any similar products out here like this now?

I make my own pearl cream, because then I can control what ingredients to include. I even added a little zinc oxide this time for sun protection. If you type "pearl cream" in Google, it looks like there are lots of options. Some had ingredients I didn't like, but others claimed to be all natural. I'd probably compare ingredients of the paste you were using to other products to see what most closely matches, but that's just me. Here are just a few I found:

Did you ever post your recipe for pearl cream Skippie? I remember you mentioning you make your own a while back but not whether you posted an actual recipe? I think many would be interested in it. Smile

I did post it once upon a time, DM. But I'm constantly revising it. The basic recipe:

I start with the vegetarian cream base from Gardenofwisdom (Ingredients: deionized water, coconut milk, broccoli seed oil, watermelon seed oil, polawax, emollient esters, galactoarabinan (polysaccharide), glycerin, allantoin, optiphen).

2 tablespoons base
2 tsp. oat beta glucan
1 tsp. pearl powder (dissolved in the glucan)
1/8 tsp. phytolift
seamollient
Jim's liquid seaweed

I don't have a specific amount that I use for the last two ingredients. I start with a small amount and add more as needed. Lately, I've been adding Resveratrol and Mushroom Extract to it instead of Phytolift - jjbeacham turned me on to trying other ingredients. I also added a small amount of the HP1 Z-Cote to the last batch I made.
