When you ladies speak of using cotton flannel or muslin, um, where do you get these? What are these? And how do they work? Aren't they like washcloths? Sorry for all the questions, I just have always wondered. TIA |

I use Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish (UK company with website) and they provide x2 muslin cloths with your order. Using a muslin cloth kind of exfoliates your skin while you wash. I have used this method for years now and find my skin has improved and feels really clean and smooth after washing. It is similar to using a flannel, but it is a thin cloth so the texture is better for exfoliation. I wash mine in the machine once or twice a week so they are hygenic and not building up grime
You can probably buy a piece of muslin in a fabric shop? and cut it up into squares. |

i use the cloths that come w. the eve lom cleanser. they sound to be similar to the liz earle cloths. i know that you can buy a packet of 3 eve lom cloths separately.
i think the main difference between these cloths and a regular wash cloth is the thickness...with these thin cloths you are very aware of how hard you are rubbing (brute force rubbing is a no-no) and they tend to exfoliate a bit.
i'm wondering if cheese cloth cut up would be similar... |

The cloths are the same as the Eve Lom and totally agree about the rubbing - no need to be rough, the cloths do the work for you. |

I also use the Liz Earle cloths (they come in packs of 10 on her web site). A friend and I usually order a pack and split it. The cloths are very similar to the Eve Lom ones. I use them to remove any cleanser I use and often to remove masks etc also. I competley agree that with the fine material you are VERY aware of the little pressure you need to get results. |
