I think i found another way to help reduce my circles since fillers arent doing much. I'm thinking of attacking internally and topical.

I recently ordered 40 carrots C serum and derma roller 1mm and will be using this around my eyes and internally take magnesium oxide and vitamin C together megadoses.... This releases oxygen from within to cleanse toxin buildup + 3000mg of fish oil daily. I will let those that are intersted know the results every week

Please do let us know how that goes! I have been wondering if the derma roller could help me in that area too. Good luck!

Thanks! I came up with this remedy after researching lots.
The 40 carrot has vitamin C serum + Retinol and read great things about the product and dark circles. Also, sunscreen. I'm also going to use the dermaroller and 80% lactic acid diluted with distilled water for weekly peels under eyes.

Last I'm going to take 3000mg fish oil (omega 3), 2000mg mag oxide with 4000mg vitamin C daily and organic blackstrap molasses. It's high in minerals, vitamins, iron, etc.

I pray this goes well.

That's great to hear. And of course I'd love it if you'd share the recipe for your eye cream.

I love the sound of your eye cream - where did you get the Vit K oil? Is Regu-age a product you bought in the store? What sort of dark circles did you have? Mine are much worse with allergies, but some people have hereditary under-eye darkness. Sorry about all the questions, but your success is amazing! I want to hop on that train!

I would love to hear about any product that would help dark circles.

They were already bad and now the skin is thinning there, they are worse! From experience I know that, for me at least, mega doses of vitamin c doesn't help and neither does fish oil although they have other benefits. Vitamin K may be the key and avoiding foods that one is intolerant to.

I find that the best treatment for darkness in most cases is a retinol and vitamin K treatment at night to strengthen the skin/capillaries and then a vitamin C and sunscreen combo during the day to limit any hyperpigmentation that may be adding to the darkened look. Of course some dark circles aren't treatable but I've found those to be the best options...

Hi! I used to have the same problem. I used concealer under my eyes until my friend gave me this Reviving Eye Cream of Omorovicza. It has Vitamin K which reduces dark circles and cucumber extracts, it's soothing every time I apply this cream. And I have also noticed fine lines and wrinkles under my eyes were lessened.

Hey Alexes,

Did you ever have any luck with Capiderm? I've been taking 100mcg of Vitamin k. I believe it's been about a month and I don't see a difference, but I'm going to get taking it.

I did try the Capiderm, but my under-eyes were too sensitive. They became quite red and irritated, so I stopped. The Capiderm did help my leg veins, so I would recommend it to anyone, but if you are super sensitive like me, be careful using it under your eyes.

I am just looking for one now. I bought an Avon product from a rep who was having a sale, but I don't really expect much from it. I have also started to use a skin roller, and am crossing my fingers that as the skin thickens, the darkness will be less apparent. Right now I am just really frustrated with the whole thing. I want my face back. I saw myself in a mirror the other day and the cover-up was so obvious I felt like crying. My circles are much worse when I am reactive to something, but as I have numerous allergies, I never am free of the dark-circles. I never leave the house without make up on. I really want to find something I can afford and that works!

according to TCM (traditionsl Chinese medicine) ..and really most traditional(holistic) systems of medicine..beauty comes from within..an internal balance of the physical organs, energy flow through the body (no stagnant enery, deficincies, etc.)...

in general, i always look to my kidneys when my under eyes are dark....(kidney deficiency really accelerates as we age)..do some studying of TCM...or see a practitione r..or get Ping Zhang's incredible book Anti-Aging Therapy..>she explains holistic beauty so incredibly well..and teaches these techniques to spa ractitioners.

for me personally, unless my body gets so unbalanced that i need herbs from a TCM practitioner...i do accupressure on the kidney points near my ears (and on other parts of my body...and for me, really need to stop eating all sweets, WHICH FOR ME MEANS STOP EATING FRUIT...and my circles go away soon after...(don't know if the sweet thing will work for all, though)

I just saw something interesting on TV. An Allergist was discussing problems that people with different allergies face - including dark circles. He said that if the problem is allergy related it is because the allergies are causing problems in the sinuses and nose. Taking anti-histamines and sinus pills is supposed to help. I do know that in the winter when I took anti-histamine and sinus pills for colds, my dark circles looked a bit better, so did the swelling under my eyes. So I am off to find sinus pills. Crossing my fingers!

So Sorry Girls! I haven't been on-line for a while, but I'd love to share my eye-cream success. Basically, I use any 'ol eye-cream that I like and just add the vitamin k and REGU®-AGE. I get the REGU®-AGE from lotioncrafters.com - http://www.lotioncrafter.com/regu-age.html , and the vitamin K from the gardenofwisdom.com - http://www.gardenofwisdom.com/catalog/item/4073723/3856199.htm . The Regu-age can be used from 2-5%, and the vitamin K from .5-1%. So, for a 1 oz. eye-cream (30cc), you'd use 1.6cc of Regu-age and .3cc of vitamin K. I have gotten great results with these actives. No more dark circles for me.

Alexes,

Hang in there! I know you feel! I have allergies as well. I've taken Allegra D for years and I haven't noticed any less darkness. Trying the Pills is worth a try!

I'm thinking about trying Dr. Larhib eye area rejuvenating cream. I first learned about this cream in an Allure magazine. There was a study done on this product. I can't remember the percent but quite a few people had reduction with their circles. The problem is this product comes from England. It's 85 dollars U.S. I've been trying to find out if they have a return policy, but I haven't had any such luck!

I'm a big fan of Acupuncture. Actually when I was going they were just starting to deal with my allergies. I think it would be a good idea for me to find another one! Maybe that would help with my circles!

That's great news! I was thinking about ordering some Vitamin K from GOW. I'll have to look into the Regu-Age. Couldn't you just apply one ingredient at a time under your eye? Smile
