Just curious if anyone has either been falsely convicted of something or know of anyone that has? I have had my eyes open on how crooked the legal system is and it just sickens me! I always thought that things are based on evidence and beyond a reasonable doubt rather then assumptions/opinions. But this is not the case unfortunately! |

I watch way too much dateline and 20/20. I say, if you or someone you know has been falsely accused, contact an attorney immediately. You need someone on your side from the first. |

I agree Annie, That's very sound advice and the most important thing one should do. |

I already did have a lawyer, and we lost against the crown. IT's for insurance fraud- long story. I'm almost thinking (hard to believe but i have strong feelings about this) that they paid for our judgement. Everyone including the crowns lawyer thought we'd win for sure, because it was a retarded case. Then when icbc brought a journalist in for not even the sentencing but just the judgement- it looked like they already knew we'd be told we're guilty. Just very odd how sick and twisted the legal thing is! It makes me have a very sour opinion on this world more so! |
