Hi all,
I'm posting here because I recently bought a bottle of the Obagi 20% vit C serum and I'm not sure whether it's real... so I need some info if any of you have used it please!
When I initially read the reviews of the product; I thought it sounded great however I didn't want to fork out a lot of money and found an seller on Ebay (with good feedback and a member since 05). When I got it, it was packaged in an Obagi box and came with a dropper top however there is no expirey date on the bottle or box.
After using it for a couple of weeks and seeing absolutely no difference in my skin I started to wonder if I'd been sold an old product or even a fake.
When I messeged the seller asking about the absent expirey date - she said that unlike the other Obagi products, the pro C system does not have one :/
I know everyone reacts to products differently however I haven't experienced any of the 'slight tingling' that most other reviewers have reported AND the serum I have is not clear but quite a strong yellow with a funny smell. I have used a different Obagi product in the past (which was bought in a salon) and it gave almost immediate results so I'm suprised that my skin shows no reaction whatsoever to this one.
My question is: Has anyone here used it? And if so: what was the colour and consistency of your 20% serum and did yours have an expirey date? I'd also be curious to know if anyone started seeing even slight results after a couple of weeks.

I received mine on Monday 7-26. The box is orange and white and the bottle is blue. There isn't an expiry date anywhere only a lot number (9H2174). Mine is a very very very light yellow color with no strong odor. I have only used it 2 times so I can't say if it is working. I don't get the tingling when using it.
I would like to take this time to thank EDS for the $50 prize and the extremely quick delivery as this product is what I purchased. |

| I also bought from ebay and got it couple of days back. It is very light yellow color, slight pleasant odor. No expiry date on box, just lot number. I remember reading somewhere strong yellow color may indicate vit C is not effective anymore. Try google search. |
