Hello,
I've had KP on my upper arms and thighs for the last few years. Living in arid Colorado doesn't help and I've tried numerous different creams without satisfatory results.
I read about Kerol Emulsion with 50% urea and during a routine check-up, asked my Dr. for a RX. My copay was $20 and I am thrilled with the results.
My KP is gone. Yay 
It's supposed to be used twice per day. I only use it once per day and I use it PRIOR to a shower/bath because I really dislike how sticky it is and that it will not absorb completely. So I put it on for a few hours (and run around in a robe) and then take a shower. I've used it overnight, but then my PJs stick to me.  However, it works and so I deal with it.

| I really appreciate your taking the time to post this. I've had KP on my upper arms for years and have been unable to get rid of it. I'm very excited about trying the kerol emulsion. Thanks! |

Hi Cini, I appreciate this also. I've had very mild KP forever, but since moving to dry S. Calif. five years ago, it is now bad and spreading.
I'm going to try this!
Question: do you exfoliate at all on the KP areas???

I hear Billie Goat Soap has a great track record with this. It's free of anything nasty like parabens, mineral oil, SLS and the likes.

I think I recall that they ship internationally. I have been using their milk wash and moisturiser and love it. |

| My Dr. prescribed Kerol for me for eczema on forearms. It worked wonders. I had a corn between my little toe ana the next door neighbor. It had been surgically removed, and all the normal stuff used topicaly to remove it. I decided that Kerol, being used to remove dead tissue, might work, and couldn't hurt. Tried it after every shower for about two weeks, and bye bye corn. Told my Dr. about it, he was surprised,and now he regularly prescribes it for dead tissue on feet. it seems that the pharamcies here couldn't get Kerol any more , so they found a generic substitute, and it works as well. The generic is distributed by Acella Pharmaceuticals. |
