I received botox injections over a year ago, clearly the benefits have worn off. I was working for a plastic surgeon and one of my parting gifts was the travel size Obagi Enhance and Condition travel set - it's due to expire in Sept 2010 so I really want to use it because it's normally not something I can afford. I'm nervous to use the Clear and the Blender products because they are Rx and I don't have dark spots. Is it still OK to use these products if my non-surgical procedure was a year ago? Should I use the entire kit to reduce lines and wrinkles? I'm 32. Any help is super appreciated.
Thanks!!

If you don't have any hyperpigmentation I would not use Obagi. I would just use Retin A and a good quality sunscreen. I personally don't see any reason to use Hydroquinone if you aren't battling pigmentation issues. |

Most definitely you can use Retin A without the Blender. It is one of the only proven ingredients as far as anti-aging is concerned! |

Thank you SO MUCH for your help!! Is the Blender for discolored skin as well? I know the Clear is.
Do I put the Retin A all over my face or just nasal folds, under eye, and forehead - basically where I have wrinkle?
Thanks again!!!!! |

The Blender is mainly for discoloration, but it will also help the Retin A penetrate deeper. However, if you have never used Retin A, I would not use the Blender with you. You use a pea-size amount of Retin A and dot that all over your face and then rub in. Just be careful around your eyes and mouth, as you will probably get very dry after a few weeks. Your skin will slowly improve and it takes 1 full year to notice the full effect of the Retin A. |
