Hey, I wonder if someone could help me? A couple of days ago I went to a hairdressers and my hair was lomg blonde and I asked the hairdresser for light brown hair with a bit of red in it. And the colours she showed me it was like there was no red in the colours. So I said could I have that brown and a bit of red, she said ok month problem. Later on she come back showing me another brown that had more red in it so I said yea that's nice so I choose that one. So when she washed my hair I looked straight in the mirror and my jair was dark ginger and my roots were really bad, everybody in the salon was looking at me and I was sooo anoid but obviously didn't show it. She cut my hair also witch I love the cut but I hate my hair colour. I think its a permant colouur but don't know about the red. I need someone to give me so help how to fade the ginger so I can get a light brown all over. I have been using washing up liquid and baby shampoo but I need it to go faster. Please help? |

Go back to the salon. Sounds like she didnt give you what you asked for, she should fix it. |

Red is the easiest and fastest color to fade due to the shape of the color molecule...just wash your hair a few times (lather, rinse, repeat a few times) with a deep cleansing shampoo.
If it still has too much red, wash it with some liquid laundry detergent (lather, rinse, and repeat again) and then condition very well. I have never had much red survive laundry detergent! |
