It's in a serum that I'm looking to try out and i'm worried that it may cause sun sensitivity as a retinoid does. Kinetin is supposed to work like a retinoid but without the sun sensivity - do you buy this? |

I guess I'm most worried that it will cause my skin to become photosensitive, which I don't want. But from reading some stuff online (thank you for the link ), I think it's a somewhat benign ingredient. It's in my Kinerase hydraboost serum. |

I too have heard that Kinetin is supposed to be an alternative for retinoids. Although I don't recall seeing any specific studies proving this. It may just be marketing fluff.
I've used Kinerase products and retin A in the past, and for me, retin A made a lot more improvements in my skin.
When I used Kinerase, I noticed no photosensitivity. It always seemed very mild to me. |
