Does anyone know if there is anywhere I can purchase the phytogel and sonicare gel that is used with the skindream titanium?

I got my 30.00 dollar unit from China! i bought it off ebay and it goes up to 3mHz.
When I tried it on my face I didn't think it was going anything. But I dropped a bit of water on the head and it did bubble. When i went to sleep my face tingled. I used the device on high.
Now I wonder if my face could tolerate 5mHz. There is a portable medical one that I found that offers a 14 day refund. It's about 100 dollars.
My understanding is 5mHz is good for shallow places, like a wrist for example. faces are shallow as well. but what really makes me interested is the Ulthera technology operates at a 4-7mHz level. (not that I'm trying to do this at home, but it is a higher level, and this makes me wonder if my face is tolerable maybe i should be using 5mHz).
anyway, i've used it twice and have noticed a big difference immediately. when i used it on one side of my face, that side looked completely different than the other side. I cannot believe it.
on my hands as well, they are more plump and attractive. my face looks younger, it's hard to believe it. the color and tone is so much better and firmer as well.
i told my friend this is the best 30 bucks to spend on skincare!!

I think you have it backwards; the lower the MHz number, the deeper the penetration. For example:
One of the most important of these settings is ultrasound frequency. Frequency is selected based on the depth of the tissue to be treated. The depth of ultrasound penetration is usually described in terms of the half-value depth for the specific ultrasound frequency. The half-value depth is the distance at which 50% of the ultrasound energy has been dissipated. Ultrasound devices have been described as producing therapeutic heating at depths between 1 and 2 half-value depths. Therefore, 1-MHz continuous ultrasound, with a half-value depth of approximately 2.3 cm, is frequently used to treat deep tissues that are approximately 2.3 to 5 cm deep. With its smaller half-value depth, 3-MHz ultrasound is frequently used to heat tissues that are more superficial, from 0.8 to 1.6 cm deep.

Thank you... and wow, so for $27 you get ultra sound and 3 color lights! I really wanted to try green light as I read it's good for hyperpigmentation... I may end up buying it in spite of the fact I am really not into gadgets... |

Well, I finally got my SQOOM last Friday!! I was so excited.
I have been using it since then of course, and I haven't seen much difference on my face - which doesn't surprise me as my face is very well cared for and also they do say results will be visible in 2 weeks.
On Saturday and Sunday nights, I used it on my chest (very neglected area), just the one program (Nutrition) for 4 minutes and have seen a visible improvement (but not elimination) of my cleavage wrinkles.
The most exciting thing, though, was using it medically.
Along with the 2 free face gels I got, I also purchased the gel for inflammatory injuries as my husband had hurt his leg running 2 weeks ago, and has really been struggling with a sort of shin-splint pain that wouldn't go away. I gave him a 12 minute treatment on Friday night when I got the gadget, and thereafter two treatments a day Saturday and Sunday. As a birthday surprise, my H had booked us into an hotel in London for the weekend, and we did a LOT of walking - 7-8 hours per day Friday, Saturday and about 4 hrs on Sunday. His leg should have really been inflamed, but it wasn't. He said he couldn't believe how good it felt - he's calling the SQOOM the 'miracle gadget'. And it's not just a placebo effect - two weeks ago, when he said it was sore, and again on Friday night when I gave him his first treatment, I could feel the tendons along his shin sort of squeaking when I pressed down on the area (accompanied by a yell of pain from him), or when he flexed his foot. On Saturday night, I noticed the area of squeaking had shrunk to a much smaller diameter - but thought I was maybe just pressing in the wrong area (after a few beers, he was fast asleep, so I had no direction from him LOL). Last night, there was no sqeaking at all, which he confirmed ("yeah, I could even feel it in my teeth, but now there's nothing!"). He's not totally healed of course, but he says it's feeling the best that it has in 2 weeks - and after a weekend of putting the shin under a lot of strain, you would have thought at best it would be the same as before, if not more painful.
The med gel was an eye-watering �79, but if you consider he effectively had 5 physio therapy sessions which would have cost him around �35 to �45 a time, the gel has paid for itself.
So, I'm looking forward to future skin results, as we both feel the gadget has proved itself. |

Oh, and another thing - I have found an identical looking unit on the internet called FYOLA. I have emailed the SQOOM company and asked if it's the same product, just rebranded for a different market. In their literature they say to use your own anti-wrinkle and lifting potions, where SQOOM say their gels should be used (of course).
What gels are the rest of you using? When I'm finished with the gel that came with my unit, I will consider other gels (depending if I see great results or not), as £79 per gel will get quite pricy over the long run. |

That's very interesting about the SQOOM helping your husband's leg, Karen. I have recurrent knee injuries (in both knees) and there's a lot of squeaking and crackling in them. Unfortunately, I've just checked the price and it's a bit too scary for me.
I do have a Novasonic device (although it doesn't have the additional ionisation properties of the SQOM, unfortunately) and will give that a try, I think. So thanks for reminding me about it as I'd completely forgotten!
If my knees continue to deteriorate, then I might just start to think seriously about investing in the SQOOM. |

majorb, I used it last night for the first time on my shoulder. I injured my shoulder about two months or so ago (simply blow-drying my hair!  ) and the rotator cuff in my shoulder just went 'ping' and I was in absolute agony!
After the success with my H's leg, I thought I'd try it on my shoulder which still hurts if I raise my arm in a certain way. It will be an interesting experiment, as this injury is older than H's, and may include scar tissue which hinders healing. I will keep you updated on whether the SQOOM helps. |

BTW - to answer the question that was posed earlier in this thread - my instructions say the thyroid must only be avoided if you have a thyroid problem.
I am very excited about my chest area. I have been using one of those sticky chest pillows to try a resolve my crinkly morning decollage. Of course, you can't wear them every night, it gets tedious. This morning, after sleeping without a chestpad, my chest looked as if I had slept with one on! I only have a very, very faint V at my cleavage (it's normally very pronounced, with other crinkles radiating out from it).
I think this is my first gadget that has given me black-and-white positive results (rather than the  m, is it? isn't it? maybe it's just the light...) - no matter which mirror I look in, the creases are hardly visible! YAY! |

There's another but I can't remember the name to find a link, but it's a fairly thickly padded heart you stick on your chest, and it's surprisingly comfortable, like having a pillow against you. |

There is also the "chestapeal" (a heart shaped pillow sticker that lasts about a month) and "chest savers" which is a bra thing. I've used both of these..and vote for finding another way. They do work..but are not practical for a lifelong solution.
on another thread I did share that decided to use those gel insoles that go into the front of your shoes for ball support on my chest at night. Lol..they stick to your chest just fine..no glue or sticky stuff...and it goes right over the area where wrinkles form...and are more comfortable.
Another girl then suggested that I wear a razor back tank top backwards to bed to keep the breasts separated so wrinkles diminish. I have not tired that yet.
So that's the 411 on chest wrinkles.
Also, I 've found my chest wrinkles are almost gone after using CeRave cream after my bath/shower when skin is wet. |

my cheapie 28 dollar ultrasound device (link listed above in this thread somewhere) has been working well for me, in conjunction with Skin actives twilight A cream.
all the years of running got my chest! i see signs of aging there most. |

Okay, really, this hands down the best gadget I have ever owned!! I wonder if this should be split off to its own thread (Mod?).
I have ZERO wrinkles on my chest!! Today, I wore a V-neck jumper that had lain untouched in my wardrobe throughout last winter due to feeling self-concious about the train-track V crease I had on my chest, not to mention collar bone wrinkles. (I had some small positive results from STOP when I used it there, but it was short lived, ie a for an hour or two right after treatment, but it was no-where in the same class as the results I have now, and not enough to give me confidence wearing V-neck tops).
I keep yanking the neckline of my t-shirt down to check if the lines have rebounded back suddenly, but no - I have a lovely wrinkle-free expanse!
Tomorrow marks day 14, and I can now see changes starting in my face. My crows feet, when I smile, usually meet the smile lines from my mouth. Now, they have shrunk back to the tops of the apples of my cheeks, and my smiles are starting to look like dimples rather than lines stretching up cheeks!
Look out eBay, a ton of gadgets are coming your way (and my sister is going to be happy when she gets my STOP in the post tomorrow!) as this one is clearly all I need (along with my Tua Tr'end, which I am using at the same time - and which I used before for longer periods than 2 weeks without seeing anything like this! I am just using it with the SQOOM for good measure).
I know not all gadgets work for all people - heavens, I've bought countless toys from the Dermawand to the Safetox to the Baby Q after rave reviews from others only to find they didn't do anything exciting for me. So I am really happy to finally find one that does what it says on the tin! And can be used for a whole host of physical ailments as well.

I paid £520 for mine, which included a cleanser gel and a treatment gel.
However, we always get ripped off with higher prices in the UK. As you have seen, I have enquired whether this device is the same as the Fyola which is available in USA for only $280. (See the above quote from the email). However, I did respond to this email asking how come the SQOOM looks just like the Fyola, when the Fyola has been around since 2008 at least. If you search EDS you will find (as I did today) that there have been a few Fyola threads... |
