I did not get the impression that the lady in the movie looks especially young (her neck alone makes her look like she is in her late 50ties). She does look like she takes good care of her skin, but not young.
Am I wrong? |

I think the age range is correct. I will find out. |

Allie Ochs is 55 or 56. I saw some before and after pictures of her and they were impressive. She has used the SkinDream for 4 years. |

I received mine last Wednesday, so this update is after a week and a half of use: the consensus is that I like it! I am cautiously optimistic that it might be a miracle. I am 34 with pretty great skin to begin with, hoping to improve some eye wrinkles and very light sagging under my eyes/in cheek area. So far, the sagging hasn't gone away (which is my ultimate hope), but I have noticed a visible "glow" that sort of emanates from my skin. I have been using daily with the gel it comes with. Will update again in a couple of weeks. Cheers! |

Hi Toby,
thanks for the YouTube link, very interesting to see they are finally promoting their product!
Don't seem to be getting alerts from EDS, so only stumbled on your update by accident. |

This device is so tempting, but so expensive! Has anyone who is using it used LED light therapy? How does it compare? What does it do differently?
I see that some users mentioned SkinDream evened their skin tone. Did anyone have hyperpigmentation or spots left on the skin from acne that SkinDream helped to clear up? |

Cooking Katy has LED lights...I think Lightstim as well as the SkinDream. She would be a good one to answer this. |

I'm still not understanding why this is a 1 mHz device for the face when all the info that I have read about ultrasound advices 1 mHz for the body only - 2 and 3 mHz is for the face. Additionally, the instructions for my 2 mHz device state it is only to be used once per week, but this Skindream advices daily treatments. I find all of this very confusing. But I admit to being confused about ultrasound in general! I have a UP5 device and that is for daily treatment - but you don't have to use the gel with it, you can just use your own products. |

I'm with you Keliu. I think I have the same device as you. I only use it once a week. It really is boring to use. But, there is no way I would use an ultrasound device everyday. I wouldn't use any device everyday. About the 1 MHz, they do have a 50% setting on the SkinDream. According to the instructions Cooking Katy posted if you are not getting results then you can up it to 100%. Maybe this device is constructed differently and using 1 MHz is safe with this device. I gave up trying to figure it out. I have to say I'm not as excited to use it as I am my LightStim. |

Yes, it's as exciting as rubbing the back of a spoon over your face! Also, according to what I've read, the main benefit of ultrasound is product penetration because it creates micro-channels in the skin to deliver the product deeper. |

I have 2 LightStims (in the hope upon hope it would speed up usage time) they are lying in my gadget box, & have not been used for months. The SkinDream is giving the even & creamy results, but much more pronounced than the LighStims ever did (although the Lightstim also encourages the formation of new collagen), (I have not read anything about collagen production from the SkinDream). The SkinDream is so much quicker to use, even if used daily. The LightSTim should be used daily & even with 2 appliances took at least 20 minutes. There is no lifting or tightening, that I am aware of from the SkinDream, it is the lovely transluscent, smooth & even skin which I use it for.
I just tried the SkinDream with Dr Hauschka's rejuvenating face mask as the medium of conduction rather than the gel. Having looked at the label on the Skindream Phytogel (a conduction medium designed to be left on after use) they contained similar products, I will see how my skin looks & feels in the morning.
I've decided I don't like getting old . There seems to be an awful lot of maintenance to carry out..... daily! Some times I look in the mirror & feel a wreck & think why am I bothering, then other days, particularly if I have put on some make-up & made an effort I think that maybe I don't look quite so bad. But.......I do feel at the moment that there are more bad days than good I can quite see why some of my friends go for Botox & fillers, if I was not such a scaredy custard I suspect I would be there now being pumped full of stuff.
Am I suffering from winter blues now the darker days are here? Anybody else having a slump with there gadgets? I am beginning to think there is no gadget out there that will lift my face back up to where it used to be
I must email Mediconsultants & tell them we are not understanding the 1 Mhz issue, it is going against all that we have read. I am still using my SkinDream on my face at the 100% setting which is 1Mhz
Toby how are you getting on with that gadget of yours? Is it lifting the face? Notice I've perked up a bit, thinking maybe Toby is going to give me news that her gadget works |

I'm in the middle of an absolutely chronic slump - can't stand the sight of myself! But it's summer here - I must have the summer blues! |

I am three weeks in now, and I am no longer sure if I am seeing real results. There may be mild improvement, but definitely nothing dramatic. I also have a babyQ that I used religiously for about 6 months about a year ago. I used it every other week until recently, but pulled it back out to incorporate (every other day) with use of the Skindream. I have also started skin rolling with a Rollcit (I know, too many new things at once, but that is how these things tend to go, right?). Again, it has only been three weeks, and I am going to stick with it, but my initial excitement has dampened a bit. |

Ladies,
could you, please, share whether you still see results from Skindream Titanium and what kind?
It is just so very tempting.
I had seen zero results from Stop, but had seen good ones from Lightstim. I was so impressed with CookingKaty results that ordered Slendertone from England and started Flexeffect (both of which I like so far, but it is too early for tangible results).
One of the things that is most ageing (on me) is a double chin (and slight vertical lines on the neck with certain movements).
Part of the problem is that all of it takes quite a bit of time (20 min Slendertone + 30 min FE). I am waiting for the 2nd AALS and am looking into Skindream machine (10 minutes sounds so so good).
On the other hand I already have a collection of useless gadgets (DPL, Prolight lights, U5,...). It would be a pity to invest so much if it does not work (btw they do not have money back guarantee).
Please, let me know what you think.
TIA |

Hi Sigma,
I honestly believe there is no tightening nor lifting from the Skindream. It gives a lovely even, creamy skin tone & radiance plus eradicates broken capillaries, but I truly believe that is ALL - no lift - sorry.
I think lift comes from exercises of the face &... a big &.... I am beginning to wonder if the lift I saw earlier in the summer was from the STOP machine building new collagen & hence tightening (see my updates on the STOP thread).
I have just started back on the STOP & will try this on a more scientific basis this time around (I have already mapped the dates & routines out in my beauty diary to do this correctly this time around).
I would not dream of giving up on the Skindream, this gadget is for life. I have spent a lifetime trying to achieve beautiful skin & now people comment on my complexion (even although I am an old "has been" at 53 now ), I believe I have now achieved my goal in that department.
At this age I am starting to see sag around the jawline I was once told, by a much older, but beautiful (& wiser) woman, to enjoy & have confidence in yourself at the age you are, because as you age , you look back & think "well I looked pretty dam fine then, why the heck did I not realise that then?", this is now ringing true, but I do wish I had lift on he jawline. I have a receding jaw to start with, so age is not a helper in this department .
Regarding the Lightstim, I think you need hours of dedication. I have 2 of these machines & even then, a treatment session takes 20 minutes PLUS,(definitely PLUS) although my skin glows after this, it is just too long in any one day. We all have to run a house, probably work also, exercise the body, cook an evening meal AND keep the face lifted up, there is just not enough time.
Regarding the Slendertone face - I am having a crisis & wondering if it was delivering the results I thought. My cheeks sure are lifted up, but the bottom half of my face has had nil result from it. |

Cooking Katy, are you saying that this machine got completely rid of broken caps? Did you have a lot of broken caps, and how long did it take to get rid of them? |

Katy,
thank you so much for such an in-depth review.
I am still so tempted to go for it...
I had no results with Stop. I had used it for a short while and had gotten a few extra brown spots on my face (they were never there before). Since I had skin cancer on my leg, I got scared and the email from the manufacturer failed to alleviate my fears. So it is collecting dust in my closet. I will check with the Dermatologist if it is safe for me to use (radiofrequency), but I doubt he will approve.
Katy, have you tried FE for the bottom of the face?
After 5 times it seems to me that I see some slight improvement - I think I was beginning to get some slackinness/pouches there (I am not sure what the term is - the parts on the left and right of the chin, sort of what the bulldogs have - just much much less pronounced); and it seems to be gone now.
Thank you again so much! |

Sorry, somehow my posting got posted twice! Forgive.
Re, the broken caps, I did not have masses but there were a number of tiny ones, particularly around the upper cheek, lower eye area, which loomed large in my X12 magnifying mirror . These just went, I cannot say how long this took, all of the facial skin just evened out, I suppose within the first month of use of the Skindream.
Regarding the STOP, I think perhaps the increase in your pigmentation is the melanin filled cells coming up to the surface, had you persevered, I think you may have found that the pigmentation was actually helped. |

Sigma, yes I have tried FE, & every other facial exercise system on & off for the last 13 years. I am lazy, I hate facial exercises, I know I should persevere. I am just about to try Senta Maria Runge's old system. |

Thank you, Cooking Katy. I think this device is going on my wish list. If it would even help a little with my broken caps I would be thrilled! |
