it has good sun protaction. But much white when on the face. I think it is the weak point for the physical sun protaction. |

Hi!
I have been using many of the SkinCeuticals products for years now (Vit. C Serums, cleansers, eye creams), but have to say I was not impressed with the Sheer Physical SPF 50. I ordered a bottle and used it a few times, but just didn't like the texture and cast it left ono my face. It is a lotion, but......it left a grainy type of feel on my skin. Probably why it has a ball inside the bottle. Kind of like nail polish bottles, you have to shake it up with the ball rolling around inside the bottle. I didn't like it, and had it sitting in my bathroom 1 year now. Finally, threw it in the garbage last week. It's a shame, it was a full bottle. I continue to use DermaDoctor's BodyGuard SPF 50 Oil-Free. |

the physical sun screen has this disadvantage; however if you choose a micronized / finer particles of zinc oxide; then it will minimize the "whitening" effects.
or you can use the minderal powder, it has the same UVA and B protection. |

I tried it and was not happy at all. As previously said, it has a grainy texture. |

I have tried this, but I tended to not use enough as it left such a white cast. I now use it just on my jawline and then use Image skincare gel for oily skin on top of that. (the Image is spf 30 and mineral) |
