I'm 36 yrs old and I have a bump over my right eyebrow that bugs me to death... it makes me look old and "sorrowful" or maybe even angry...
A year ago I got botox and the dr. said it was some kind of fat deposit or something?? It seems like it gets more swollen at times... Has anyone heard of this? Is there anything I can do about it? |

I took several pictures to try to show you, but the camera's not good... it's my moms (we just lost everything in a fire) and it doesn't show up...
I've been through a lot of stress and crying in the last 5-6 years and it seems like the bump showed up when my elevens started to show up... |

I'm sorry to hear about the stress, and I am sure a fire didn't help!
Unfortunately, it does not sound like anything that you can repair yourself. Your best bet would be to get the advice of a few dermatologists and see if you can find a recommendation that balances removal with the least likely chance of scarring. |

Hi Robinhigh,
My son also has a bump over an eyebrow that is a type of cyst (benign -- so we've been told.) It has gotten a bit more pronounced over the years and looks rather swollen if it gets aggravated. While it isn't a medical problem, our pediatrician suggested that we might need to have it removed by a plastic surgeon when he got older. Could this be the same situation that you're in? Just a thought...
ETA: For my son, the removal would be for cosmetic purposes -- just wanted to clarify. |

Mine is soft, nothing hard under the skin... it's almost like it could be just fluid under there or something...  |

My son's isn't hard either. If you feel it, it feels kind of "squishy" and is quite pliable. |
