Hi All, My friend had her first VI Peel on Tues. She said her face looked liked she had a bad sunburn. I looked at her face today (day 3), and she wasn't really red, but she thought she would have a lot of peeling by the third day. I saw a little flaking around her chin and little near her nose. Anyone have one of these peels to know if the peeling will take affect in a few more days? Thanks |

Usually after a peel, the skin is tight and dry, which is essentially a mask of dead skin. Once the flaking starts, it usually is the start of the peeling. I suspect that by tomorrow, the flaking will turn into peeling. I yawned on the end of the 3rd day and my face literally cracked and the onslaught of sloughing began. |

I only had one peel--I didn't do the series like they recommend. Also, the peel that I got was the Skinmedica Vitalize peel, which is a lighter peel. So while I would say that I wasn't unhappy with the results, I wasn't necessarily happy either. My skin felt soft and smooth but not necessarily any more so than I would have gotten from a good exfoliation. I certainly didn't gain any long term benefit from that one peel. |

Today is day 5 and my friend still has very little peeling. She called me today and said one side of her fave has some peeling and the other side has none. She sounded like she was disappointed that she is not peeling more. Anyone have a VPeel? Thanks |
