Is it OK to use the same cream for a longer period of time? My skin is dry, and seems to really like the Intensive Moisture Balance from Dermalogica. In addition, I use either the Multivitamin capsules (mornings) or the Facial Cream from MD Formulations with glycolic acid.
Is it OK to use the same combo for a prolonged period of time? I would LIKE to get a new cream, and preferably a richer one, since the Intensive is a bit too little for my skin during the cold season.
But I can't find a good substitute! I want a very rich cream, without heavy perfume, that I can use day and night. I've been thinking about the rose cream from Hauschka, but prefer more hi-tech ingredients....Is that stupid of me? Can I use Hauschka in combo with the multivitamin capsules and the glycolic cream? |

Hi Nemi
I cant answer all your questions, but why not give Decleor a squizz?
Their Angelique range is for dry skin and theyve got a number of things that im sure would do the trick: their aromessence oil, Nutri-Delice Cereal Cream and Night balm.
Decleor is a really nice range, and I know lots of women go weak at the knees for the smells!
It would be a nice contrast using aromatherapy against all the 'high-tech' stuff your using at the mo.

I forgot to mention....Decleor is my other favourite brand I just finished a jar of the Nutri-delice ultranourishing cream, which I love, but it takes hours to sink in, and I feel, I could use a little bit more MOISTURE in addition. And the lighter version of that cream is too light in the winter.
Hmm.... |

Isn't the Iris oil for aging skin??? (I'm not that old ) I've got a couple of small bottles of the Angelique oil lying around; haven't tested the Vitaroma moisturizer yet. |

Try the Angelique under the cream Nemi. Angelique (if I remember correctly) is the one for dry skins. |

I would also add the Arommesscence Angelique (which I absolutely adore)under any of the moisturizers you try. That made a big difference for me. Right now I'm trying out the JB Hydrating Night Gel (from their spa products) and it has hyaluronic acid in it which attracts moisture so you could put that under another moisturizer as well. Let us know what works for you. I'm always combatting dry skin in winter too. Good luck! |

I think I would like to try the Harmonie-cream next time I try Decleor. It was recommended to me at the local spa, by the lady I have bought a lot of stuff from (in the past , EDS prices are half the local ones).
For now, to get rid of my boredom, I have bought some stuff from Shiseido The Skincare that I've tried before; cleansing cream, cleansing foam, and the lovely Multi-energizing Cream (which gives dry skin a boost). |
